Mark E. Perreault, DVM, BS – Veterinarian and Partner


Dr. Perreault is a partner and Veterinarian at East Orange Animal Hospital. A local graduate of Oak Ridge High School in 1983, he attended Stetson University, earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 1987 and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at UF in 1992.

He is a member of the AVMA and past president of the Central Florida VMA. He has served on the Orange County Animal Services Advisory Board and had been the veterianarian at the Orlando Cluster AKC Dog Shows for over 10 years. Dr. Perreault has been practicing at East Orange Animal Hospital since May 1994.

His areas of interest include:

  • Small mammal/Exotic Medicine
  • Reptile Medicine and Surgery
  • Oncology
  • Behavior and Training
  • Wildlife Rehabilitation

Dr. Perreault and his wife have two daughters. Current pets are a Rhodesian Ridgback, a pit bull, and a Macaw.


James C. Roden, DVM


Dr. Roden is a partner and Veterinarian at East Orange Animal Hospital and has been a driving force in our growth and success since November 1996. Originally, from Arkansas, he graduated from Louisiana State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.

Dr. Roden had intended to pursue a career in large animal and equine medicine but his heart led him to companion animals where he has become an accomplished surgeon and outstanding doctor.

His special interest include:

  • Surgery
  • Internal Medicine
  • Endocrinology

Dr. Roden and Amanda wed in 2006. In their free time they enjoy their two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and fishing.


Kerry I. Jackson, DVM, MS


Dr. Jackson was a classmate of Dr. Perreault at the University of Florida. She graduated from the University of Tampa in 1986. She attended the University of Florida where she received her Masters in Veterinary Science in 1988 and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992.

Dr. Jackson is a Certified Florida Masters Naturalist, and volunteers with the Orange County Environmental Services to monitor Central Florida lakes and springs. She has donated over 50 gallons of blood to the Central Florida Blood Bank, and runs the Disney Marathon each year.

Her interest include:

  • Internal Medicine
  • Exotic pets- rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets
  • Reptiles and birds
  • Surgery

Dr. Jackson lives with Knight, an Animal Services adoptee, two cockatiels, and a corn snake.


Cindy – Practice Manager

Cindy has been with EOAH since 2005, but has been in the veterinary industry since 1988.

She has two catahoula girls.


Amy – Lead Technician

Amy has been with EOAH since 1994. She is the technician supervisor and knows all the ins and outs of the hospital.

While she loves all pets, black cats are her passion.


Julia – Surgical Technician

Julia has been with EOAH as a technician since 2005.

Cat girl all the way!


Rosa – Animal Health Technician

Rosa has been a technician with EOAH since 1993.

She has had dogs, cats, and birds.


Nina – Animal Health Technician

Nina has been with EOAH since 2008, where she excelled as a kennel technician and was moved to animal health technician a few years ago.

Has three kitties of her own, but loves all of our patients!


Nina H. – Animal Health Technician

Nina has been in the veterinary field since 2012.

Nina is a big cat person and has many feline babies!


Lena – Animal Health Technician

Lena is a surgical technician and has been with EOAH since 2017 and is the proud owner of three
dogs of her own.


Veronica – Veterinary Technician

Veronica has been with EOAH since 2018 and is the proud owner of exotics and dogs.


Heidi – Veterinary Technician

Heidi has been with EOAH since 2019 and has dogs and a couple of sassy cats.


Vanessa – Veterinary Technician

Vanessa is a surgical technician and has been with EOAH since 2018 and has a lovely Doberman added to her family.


Kaitlyn – Veterinary Technician

Kaitlyn has been with EOAH since 2019 and helps take care of a house full of dogs and one bearded dragon.

Megan – Senior Receptionist

Megan has been with EOAH since 1994. Megan has worked at every position at the hospital and is our senior receptionist.

Proud owner of not one, but four dogs!


Amanda – Receptionist

Amanda has been a receptionist with EOAH for several years and is married to Dr. Roden.

She and Dr. Roden share two beautiful Ridgebacks.


Annette – Receptionist

Annette has been a receptionist with EOAH since 2005.

Trying to save the neighborhood one cat at a time- five in all (for now)!
